This is a place to question what you believe about yourself.

The term “stand for” is quite appropriate, because the action of standing is one of being alive - as opposed to lying down six feet under.

If we “stand up” for something, we typically do this because we believe in it. But “belief” is a word that means we take an action based on faith - something that we know but cannot see.

So, this site is about what we really believe in.  What we stand up for is what we can’t deny, or “lie down” for.
